This is an extension of my social media outreach, teaching people about sexual coercion in marriage, or Marital Coercion. This is a covert form of emotional and sexual abuse in which one person is routinely putting pressure on their partner to perform sexually. It includes a wide range of verbal and non-verbal messaging that tells someone they're wrong to not have sex regardless of the reasons they might not be enticed to engage sexually.
The work I do is intended to bring education to the public and change to the men (it is mostly men) who do this, but primarily, I offer validation to millions of women around the world who had no idea this behavior was abusive.
